Specifications: MTM 4000 Series Trimming System

General Purpose of the MTM 4000 Series Trimming System Provide trouble free deflashing of most containers. Container sizes arte listed below. Provide complete deflash finishing for pre-finished calibrated neck containers. Provide complete deflashing and or guillotine in either single or dual neck application for downstream finishing
PLC Controls Full program and documentation supplied with each system. Allen Bradley Micrologix standard, other upon request. Controls all functions of the trimmer from index rates, tooling platen control and infeed screws.
Operator Interface for Control Functions w/ Fault Messaging Monochrome Touch Screen can be moved to various locations while trimmer is running. Color Touch Screen optional.

Bottle Infeed Height 36 in. + 2” legs only, other heights optional  
Motion of Stations 3 Servos Deflash tooling clamping motion by servo for quick and accurate nesting with deflashing / guillotining done pneumatically. Infeed screws and vacuum indexing conveyor also servo controlled for exact repeatability.
Tooling Installation Bolt in with sub plates for quick

* Bottles per minute are only approximate. 6 up on 13” centers will net a max of 70 bpm. 12 up will net 120 bpm on 7.5” tooling centerlines. Speed is solely dependent on bottle size and shape. Lectro/MTM will look at the customer bottles and provide an estimate of bpm upon request.
